Role

Visual Designer - full-time

I'm responsible for all of GitBook's visual marketing output.

My role encompasses the conception, design, and maintenance of the GitBook website, a collaborative effort undertaken with DevRel lead, Addison Shultz.

In a recent collaboration with brand designer Sebastian Graz, I played a pivotal role in crafting a revitalized aesthetic for GitBook. This involved seamlessly integrating the brand refresh not only on our website but also across social channels, advertising platforms, and the creation of visually striking merchandise.

Beyond shaping the visual identity of the brand, I collaborate with our talented product designers, Emily and Emma, to conceptualize and develop iconography and graphic assets that seamlessly integrated into GitBook's UI. Additionally, I closely collaborate with our Head of Content, Steve Ashby, to orchestrate compelling marketing and email campaigns that resonate effectively with our technical audience.
